CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We offer acceptance and love to more than 1,500 campers with special needs and chronic diseases and their siblings. Through adaptive activities, people with physical, intellectual, and/or medical challenges become participants, not observers, in the world around them. They leave Camp Barnabas knowing they are uniquely created to live lives of ability. Over 2,500 volunteers come through our gates every summer to serve these special people. We also hire and train 150-200 of some of the best college students in the country every summer as staff to serve and encourage our campers and volunteers. The experiences that are gained at Camp Barnabas become more than a week at camp, they are life-changing.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Each summer Missouri Military Academy welcomes young people to our Summer Camps and Workshops from across the country to train, compete and learn in our state of the art military and recreational facilities. Our military summer school experience is a rewarding opportunity for young people to learn leadership skills and to improve on their academics. 1. Academic Camps for Grades 7-12 (Boys) (Girls may only be enrolled as Day Students, sorry boarding is only available for Boys) MMA offers structured, success-oriented academic programs during the summer to enrich, educate and inspire young people and improve their confidence. *Camp Credit for Boys and Girls Grades 9-12 Our for-credit academic camp allows students to earn credit while simultaneously honing their subject knowledge and study skills. Courses are small to allow teachers to work closely with each student, maximizing their experience. Camp Credit is designed especially for high school students wishing to take a makeup or enrichment course. The afternoons and weekends offer opportunities for students to relax and to participate in activities that reinforce their confidence and academic focus. Students build academic skills as well as friendships and self-confidence. A guided study hall takes place nearly every evening with camp faculty present to assist with study time and homework. Both boys and girls are welcome in each of the camps however we will limit the enrollment of girls to that of a day or commuter student, no boarding. Available courses (students choose one): Algebra I Algebra II Biology I Chemistry English I English II Geometry Spanish *Camp Core Skills for Boys and Girls Grades 7-8 This integrated approach to education covers key academic skills and knowledge in math, science and reading. Students are taught using the best methods for middle school-aged students, engaging them in hands-on, interactive projects throughout the day. After class and on weekends, students are involved in fun activities that challenge their abilities. An evening guided study hall is conducted under the supervision of a teacher who can also assist students with their work. 2. Confidence Camp for Boys Ages 8-11 Our Summer Confidence Camp has something for everyone and it is accredited by the American Camp Association. Plus, boys leave with more than new friendships and memories of a great time – they take with them leadership experience and a new sense of self-confidence. Session One: July 6-12, 2015 Session Two: July 12-18, 2015 Tuition: $960.00 per session (Attendees may enroll for both sessions) MMA’s Confidence Camp helps boys 8-11 develop a sense of pride in themselves and their accomplishments. Focusing on good decision-making and teamwork exercises, the one-week program rewards young men for their progress. Two one-week options are available.

3. Leadership Camp for Young Men Ages 12-17 Young men ages 12-17 find new challenges at the two-week Leadership Camp. The program teaches boys to follow as well as to lead, as it helps them to un­derstand the benefits and responsibilities of being a leader. Physical training helps participants unlock their potential, and team-building courses help them to work better alongside their peers. This camp is accredited by the American Camp Association and adheres to their high standards. MMA Summer Camps have something for everyone. Young men ages 12-17 find new challenges at the two-week Leadership Camp. Position opening for a registered nurse wishing to expand the experience as an assistant director.  Our health and wellness program allows nurses the opportunity to practice prevention for themselves and to teach others how to avoid illness and injury.
