CAMP PROGRAM INFO: YMCA Camp Winona provides a great traditional, overnight camping experience. We try to balance tradition with the interests of today’s campers by offering fun, exciting and safe activities. Campers are grouped by age and gender and stay in small rustic cabins complete with built in bunk beds and air conditioning. There are up to 12 campers and two staff in each cabin surrounding centrally located bathhouses. Our meals are prepared by our camp chefs and served family style in our air conditioned dining hall. Our well-balanced meals include cereal, salad bar and sandwich options for those campers wishing an alternative/supplement to the meal. Entering 9th Grade
HADRACHA combines leadership training with a fun camp experience. LITs will work with campers and travel on field trips or participate in leadership and team building programs for 2 days. LITS will participate in mitzvah ("good deed") projects and trips. Additionally, one day will be spent at the JCC working on camp wide special events programming, and spending time with campers. An interview process and acceptance is required for admission into the LIT program. 25 Community Service hours will be awarded for each 4-week session.

Madrich CITs assist in camp groups and learn hands on skills as well as knowledge gained in leadership training sessions. A $100 stipend is given and 160 Community Service hours are awarded for each 4-week session. An interview is required for admission into the CIT program. CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Soccer players in the state of Florida can now experience the coaching expertise of Coach Mike Brizendine, and enjoy meeting new friends and having serious fun on campus at Florida State! Campers will learn principles of attacking and defending, combination play, pressure-cover-balance, flank play, counter attacking, zonal defending, finishing, and more.

We break down the game, and focus on individual topics for each session and then practice in small sided games. Our system of coaching gives players the chance to make better decisions while playing at a faster pace, reaching a new level of awareness and understanding of the game. For the 2014 season, we are offering the following Soccer Camps:

Morning Training:

CAMP FACILITIES: We feel that a camp experience should be one filed with the allure of living outdoors. Part of the experience is the soothing sounds of the Florida night. Our rustic cabins give the camper the perfect blend of the outdoor experience and a few comforts of home. Our cabins have 12-16 bunks, ceiling fans, power, storage shelves and a front porch. Teen campers enrolled in Camp Warrior live in more modern cabins complete with air conditioning, lofts, and a kitchenette. Bathhouses are located next to the cabin areas. Each bathhouse features toilets, sinks, and private shower stalls.

The flagship of our facilities is our newer 14,000 square foot activities center complete with 24 stall center isle barn, with tack rooms, wash bays, bathrooms and indoor skatepark. This 40 acre facility also houses our new high ropes challenge course designed by Project Adventure and our ATV track. Next to our activities center is our new camp office which includes a recording studio and comfortable, climate controlled activity room for Camp Warrior. An extensive renovation plan is in place over the next three years that will transform camp!

Another high point of Camp Indian Springs facilities is our natural fresh water spring. This natural wonder is over 40′ deep in some places! For most of the year the water flows clear and it always remains a refreshing 68 degrees. Indian Springs is internationally know as one of the best cave systems in the world to dive. Unfortunately we can’t offer this to our campers but we stay very busy catering to the divers in the off season. Tours can be arranged with Cave Connections.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Indian Springs, first established in 1965, is a fun-filled, action packed private summer resident camp for boys and girls ages 7-16. Located on 77 acres, camp is nestled beside the wooded springs of beautiful Wakulla Springs State Park amidst the Apalachicola and Wakulla Forest of North Florida. Camp Indian Springs offers a summer experience rich in fun, friendship, learning and extreme adventure. Camp Indian Springs is truly a place where a summer will last a lifetime!

While the Camp Indian Springs facilities and programs are terrific, we believe that it’s our camp staff that makes the summer experience truly special. The Camp Indian Springs Community is caring and supporting, and is at the core of everything that takes place at camp.

A camp is only as strong as its leadership. Camp Indian Springs is committed to providing skilled leadership. Indian Springs counselors are great role models who are focused on the needs of campers, both in the cabins and in classes. What makes Camp Indian Springs stand out above the rest is our 90% staff return rate. Unlike most other summer camps you will not find a staff search on our web site or a Craigslist ad seeking staff. This is due to our extensive C.I.T. (Counselor-In-Training) program and high staff retention rate. Growing a staff within creates a competitive and safe environment to select the best of the best. More than half the staff have been at camp five years or more. All counselors are carefully selected for their camp skills and must possess superb references. All staff must go through an intensive one week staff training which includes effective cabin leadership, teaching skills, emergency procedures, CPR, first aide and a parent to counselor open forum.

High Seas Adventure Camp on our 70 foot yacht. Campers will get the chance to be on the crew of a real yacht as they travel. They will also experience treasure hunts as well as ride jet skis, and use our yachter-slide.

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: Our C.I.T. program is one of our most valued Camp Indian Springs program. This program is vital to the success of our camp. This is where we grow the future camp staff and world leaders of tomorrow. Our Counselor In Training program is the first step to become a camp staff member. The program is for campers age 15 to 17 who desire to become camp staff. The program is designed to teach young men and women to become productive leaders and staff members. A majority of the camp’s current staff have come up through our C.I.T. program.

C.I.T.s are placed in a younger cabin with a Senior and Junior counselor and have a vital role in cabin leadership. C.I.Ts also take a C.I.T. only class and assist in other classes throughout the day.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): We are open year round for group retreats, family camps, family reunions, and any other event possible.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We are open year-round for a tremendous and unforgettable experience for the whole family, school, sports team, or any other group! We have hosted countless retreat groups and they have all had incredibly memorable experiences. We have hosted family camps, family reunions, religious groups, boy scouts, girl scouts, fraternities, sororities, etc.

We are now hiring Summer Camp Counselors who love hanging out with kids! Indian Springs is an immensely unique and incredibly fun Summer Camp program in North Florida. We are the Premiere Private Summer Camp in Florida.

SUMMER CAMP JOBS:

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): The Cardinal Parent’s Association (CPA)
Designed to allow the parents of campers a chance to
be a part of the activities at Camp Cardinal. A C.P.A members is essentially a parent counselor, assisting with various field trips and activities on a day to day basis.

Requirements
1. Every family is Eligible Parents must sign up within the program’s
set deadlines (C.P.A DOES NOT discriminate against race, creed, and /or religion) This program is strictly based upon a first come – first serve basis. (There are only three C.P.A positions available per session)

2. Must be a biological parent and/or rightful guardian of child.

3. Willing to work with children other than your own.

4. Must be physically active and able to participate in all activities.

5. Last but not least, Willing to have fun!

Rules and Regulations
1. A C.P.A member will act as a head counselor to his/her assigned group.

2. A C.P.A member cannot be a head counselor over his/her child’s group.

3. A C.P.A member must Chaperon various field trips and activities
such as (Late nights).

Agreement
1. Regarding your child’s itinerary you are required to commit
to a certain number of hours per session.

CAMP FACILITIES: Camp Illahaw’s “Cow-Town” Look. Camp Illahaw sports the theme of “Old Florida”. Our Mess Hall, Bathhouse, Counselor Cabin, and Recreation Room are the beginning of Main Street. Boys and Girls Dorm

Set in the style of an old-Florida cracker-town from the 1800′s, our dormitories and activity rooms serve as the perfect home base for the week’s activities. We have a boys dorm and a girls dorm each with 32 camper capacity. Counselor to camper ratio is 6:1 at night so counselors stay in the dorm with campers all night. With so much to do, campers can stay for multiple weeks with no additional charge for overnights between sessions and we also offer laundry service free of charge!

The Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Visitor Center is home to the Cypress Restaurant, the Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida Marketplace and serves as the departure point for fun safaris offered through Florida EcoSafaris at Forever Florida.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Camp Illahaw is owned and operated by the Allen Broussard Conservancy, a non-profit organization established in 1991. Since 2005, Camp Illahaw has offered campers the chance to experience all Florida has to offer with a diverse selection of fun activities from Horseback Trail Rides; Arena Activities; Florida History/Heritage; Low Ropes Challenge Course; Hiking; Kayaking; Archery; Shooting; Swimming, Paintball*; and our “unique” Outdoor Survival Activity*. The CIT Program seeks to teach young people about responsibility, authority, and hard work that will prepare them to be counselors and leaders in the future, or to prepare them for college life. Being a camp counselor is a great summer job for college students. Our CIT program is a great way for young adults to gain the necessary experience and qualities needed to secure a job. Many camps look for past camp experience or CIT program experience. We prefer our CIT’s be past Camp Illahaw campers but it isn’t required.

You will also earn 50 community hours per week!

CAMP FACILITIES: The camp will be taking place on 100 acres of natural learning opportunities. There are over 50 separate garden displays, several waterfalls, koi ponds, many nature trails, pavilions, and animal friends throughout the gardens.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Solutionary Heroes Summer Camp is designed and directed by Jenna Bardroff, a humane educator with a Master of Arts degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Animal Biology. Camp programs are also facilitated by Dale Bardroff, M.A., an educator who has taught a wide population of special needs students. Camp educators are qualified outreach educators for compassionate studies and are committed to teaching participants solutionary skills. All camp educators are CPR and Frist Aid certified.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We offer three main camp programs including:

Camp J Traditional Camp for children entering grades K-8 provides a well-rounded traditional camp program every week. Campers are placed into groups by age, and participate in a variety of activities like arts and crafts, recreation, music, science, dance, cooking and more!

Camp J Sports is an instructional and recreational sports program within the framework of the General Camp. Campers are placed into a group based on age and skill level, and practice and compete in a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, dodgeball, and more!

Specialty Camps give campers the opportunity to focus on learning new skills within a specific program area. Ages and dates vary by program. Programs this summer include theater, basketball, art, science, dance and more!

Our new director of Camp J, Betsy has been working at camp for 25 years. It’s a magical place where kids can be themselves and feel accepted and cared for. It’s also a place of learning and growth, where campers can explorer their interests and find out about ones they never had! Our inclusive camp community embraces all campers and gives them all a chance to shine. We hope your family will become part of the Camp J family this summer!

CAMP LEADERSHIP CIT/LIT PROGRAMS: We offer a Leadership Development Program for Grades 6-8. This program is the perfect blend of fun at camp, with experiential learning to put them on the path to becoming camp counselors. Participants spend time working with younger campers, learning through hands-on leadership training, and go on a special field trip just for the age group.

We also offer a Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program for Grades 9-10. Our CIT Program prepares teens to work at camp. CITs are placed with a camper group and participate in workshops to learn child care and leadership skills, and gain valuable work experience.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: School's Out Days: Pack even more fun into your summer! Our School’s Out Day mini-camp program on Thursday, May 31 and Friday, June 1 bridge the end of school and the start of camp.

Saturday Night Out: Each month, the JCC also offers its
Saturday Night Out program for children. Drop your kids off for a fun night of pizza, games and activities with their friends and favorite counselors, while you enjoy a
night out! The program runs 6-11 p.m.

OTHER CAMP INFO: Camp J is a program of the Jack & Lee Rosen Jewish Community Center. We are a cultural institution whose mission is to serve local families and our entire community. Jewish values and culture are the foundation from which we derive our mission. We believe that these values – such as respect, honestly, friendship, and community – are universal.

The Southwest Orlando community is incredibly diverse, and this diversity is embraced in all of our programming. Our goal is to make all campers feel comfortable and included. We are not a religious institution, although we sometimes sing songs with Hebrew words (usually the word “shalom”, or “peace” is a prominent theme), and we do a brief Shabbat celebration on Friday afternoon, which includes a song session filled with spirit (“ruach”) and eating challah bread. We also bring a counselor from Israel to lead our arts and crafts activities, with the intention of exposing our children to a different culture and building a relationship between our communities.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp is located at beautiful Creative World School Cross Creek. This location is a brand new facility that just opened August 2013.

We are committed to providing a safe and exciting summer camp experience to our campers. Parents can be confident that our experienced CampTastic counselors, who have specialized safety training, work closely with the campers to create exciting activities that make our summer "CampTastic"!

SOAKED-One of the wettest summer activities for kids. Get ready to dive into this summer camp of sopping wet world of water play! Work together &strategize your way through an ever evolving water course, full of fun surprises! Explore how water flows through wacky pipe & tube construction. Get drenched in water relays squirt-a-thons as we cannonball into the soaking world of water games!

WILD, WILD WEST-Yippi-kay-ay! At this summer camp take an adventure to the wild, wild west. Dive into a world of dusty boots, cattle wrangling, & old-fashioned fun! Enjoy a glimpse of U.S. History & explore the thrill of a gold rush. Learn how to do-si-do, sidestep, & giddy-up in a week of barn-raising pastimes! This is one wildest summer activities for kids.

PLANET RANGERS-At this Summer camp, carry your badge at this as a Planet Ranger wisely while exploring animal habitats & survival. Hone your tracking skills & investigate animal rescue and extinction prevention. Meet furry, scaly, & winged friends & learn how fun & fascinating it is to preserve our planet!

CAMP FACILITIES: Large Modern Equestrian Facility on the Econ River next to the new 275 acre Econ Sandhill state preserve. We have secure parking, 24 Hour Digital monitored surveillance cameras, and Huge Air Conditioned Bunkhouse for Kids to Play and Cool off in 25' Pool and Deck, Bounce Houes Water Slides and constant interaction with the Horses, Lambs, Mini Goats, Bunnies, Chickens, Mini Horses, etc.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Children Will Arrive at 9am and Ride in the Mornings while it is Cool, Riding, Tacking Up, Equine Education, Feeding, Grooming, "Mucking" and General Horse Care. We have a Large Air Conditioned "Bunk House for Arts and Crafts for the Afternoons, with a 25' Above Ground Pool (Only 4' Deep) with constant Supervision, Bounce House with Water Slide for the Kids to Cool off in on the Hot Summer Days. Parents will provide a Healthy Lunch for the Kids to Bring M-Thurs (Refrigerator, Microwave, Pepsi & Propel Machine $1). We will have Party Fridays for Horse Show with Pizza (Cheese & Capri Suns and Water and Fresh Fruit on Friday) All Safety Equipment Provided. Private Bathrooms.
