CAMP PROGRAM INFO: The Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy combines a five-night, six-day residential Summer Soccer Camp for girls ages 12-18 and a Leadership Academy. This year in NJ we successfully integrated Lacrosse into the Academy for Girls ages 12-18.

We focus on two overlapping components-- Sports and Leadership.

Our camp directors are among the finest coaches in America. CAMP FACILITIES: The camp is lake front and is the perfect location to explore the great outdoors, develop confidence and make memories that will last a lifetime. CAMP FACILITIES: Training is held at the Potrero Field on campus. This complex features space equal to four full size soccer fields. The camp's exclusive use of these fields insures that they are in magnificent condition. Even our professional players on the staff, who expect perfect playing surfaces, appreciate the chance to work on such well-kept fields. Games are also held in the New Arroyo Hall gym next door to the dorms. Playing with tennis shoes and with the smaller indoor ball, campers get the challenge of playing a quicker game with restricted space.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Our home is the stunning campus at Cal State Channel Islands located near Camarillo, CA. The university is surrounded by agricultural land and nestled at the base of the Santa Monica mountains. It has the most modern facilities of a Cal State school and state of the art soccer fields for our campers. Now in our 41st year of running camp, we continue to be leader in youth soccer programs.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: For more than 45 years, Casti Camp at Castilleja School has provided girls an all-day camp where fun, learning and friendships have been the focus. Casti Camp offers a range of age-appropriate activities including athletics, art, science, computers, writing, crafts, cooking, drama, dance and music classes each day. In addition, there are weekly field trips and memorable traditions, including talent shows, counselor skits, prison ball, BBQ Wednesdays, and more. CAMP FACILITIES: The school campus is 27,000 square meters and equips with state-of-art facilities which provide students with comfortable and convenient environment for learning and living. The school library has a collection of 90,000 books that allow students to access it at anytime. Wifi Internet is available throughout every corner of the campus. CAMP FACILITIES: We are located on 220 acres in the Malibu mountains. It is a nice rustic-type camp , with refurbished boys' side cabins as of 2014 and the girls' side on schedule for refurbishment within the next couple of years. We have an outdoor pool, basketball courts, ping pong tables, gaga court, sports field, ropes course (upper and lower elements) hiking trails, indoor dining hall, conference center, an area for outdoor camping and adventures and more. We have an organic garden, and animal center - with 26 horses, goats, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, a cow and more.

TASC : Teen Age Service Camp
(entering 10th -11th grades)

TASC is geared toward developing leadership, through a group-oriented community project implemented by the campers, and through special programs. Throughout the session, TASCers experience pride and fulfillment as they enrich the Camp JCA Shalom campus. In addition, TASCers get to experience the best components of the general camp program along with a special out-of-camp overnight trip. For over 45 years, the TASC program has been one of our most popular teen programs.

TASC : California Kibbutz -
(entering 11th grades)

TASC Kibbutz is a new program created just for entering 11th graders. This program is an immersive three week program designed to be the ultimate Jewish camping and leadership experience. In TASC Kibbutz, we transport ourselves back a hundred years ago to feel what it was like for some of the pioneers who made their way to Israel. The "Kibbutzniks" will have to "create their own world" at camp. They will build their own living area, cook many of their own meals, and even help work the farm at camp! By creating a kibbutz at JCA, the Kibbutzniks will come together as a tightly knit community, grow closer to the land; learn about sustainability and organic farming; and gain knowledge of kibbutz life in Israel- all while having fun at camp! While the Kibbutzniks will spend the majority of time creating their kibbutz, they will still be connected to camp, spending sometime every day with the rest of the camp community, and still participating in many of camps offerings such as horseback riding and the ropes course. At the end of the program, the Kibbutzniks will leave with a sense of accomplishment, a set of friends for life, and a true finale of their last camp experience before becoming a Counselor-In-Training (CIT).

(entering grade 12)

These future leaders have a lasting effect on both the spirit and welfare of Camp JCA Shalom. Workshops in Jewish programming, child development and leadership training, along with observation, individual supervision and actual work with younger campers, helps the CIT explore the functioning and philosophy of camp, and develop his/her leadership abilities. This is an enriching and exciting experience as well as an important step towards future staff positions at camp. By the end of the summer, the CITs have the opportunity to become junior counselors during Session 3, and will receive a small stipend. Personal Interview required.

All Teen Leadership Programs:

- Require an additional application and interview prior to acceptance.
- Have a minimum and maximum number of participants.
- Have opportunities to gain community service hours.

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: We hold fall and spring weekend camps and a week long winter camp. We have family weekends, Jewish holiday day-long programs. We work with synagogues, schools and organizations throughout the west customizing their school, nature and leadership programs. we serve as a community convener for collaborative programs in the Los Angeles area Jewish community.

CAMP FACILITIES: FACILITIES & ACCOMMODATIONS
The UCLA Soccer Camps are held on the various fields on the Intramural Field, home to the 2013 National Champion UCLA Bruin Women's Soccer team. Overnight campers stay in the UCLA residence halls, and meals are served in the award-winning UCLA residential restaurants.

The residential restaurants offer a variety of food on an all-you-care-to-eat basis for a well-rounded, balanced diet. Their food choices range from items like soup and salad bars to American, Italian and various other cuisines. Overnight campers are housed in double- and triple-occupancy rooms, and are supervised by coaches and counselors also staying in the residence hall. Roommate preferences will be accommodated whenever possible, but cannot be guaranteed. If no roommate is requested, roommates will be assigned according to age.

CAMP FACILITIES: The Control Room is a 28,754-square foot facility with a minimum of 30' clear height, to allow members and players all the room they need to get creative with the ball. For over 25 years we have been a proud member of the American Camp Association closely following hundreds of standards for health and safety, and self submitting to accreditation visits.

All of our staff must attend intensive pre-camp training sessions that include: policies and procedures, health and safety, camp activities, appropriate staff and camper interactions, and a variety of other essential skills. Sections of the trainings also provide instruction on how to deal with situations that may occur at camp.

Beyond summer camp, most of our staff work with kids year round within the Long Beach Unified School District After School Programs. They work with kids from a variety of socioeconomic and special needs backgrounds. All of our staff are required to be at least 18 years of age.

Our campers have won high school championships, state cups, NCAA, NAIA, and junior college national championships. They have also competed on state select, USYSA regional, U.S. Junior National, and U.S. World Cup teams. Our coaching staff has included 34 college coaches, 23 foreign professional players, and 17 American pros.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: We host camps with a 10-1 ratio. Make Me A Pro's philosophy is "To Play like a Pro, Learn from a Pro". Does this mean we only teach advanced players? No, not at all! Our goal is to hire the most talented coaches, many with professional playing experience, who can express their joy of the sport and enable campers to be the best they can be, regardless of skill level.

We use challenging, yet fun games and drills that push our campers to reach their potential as individuals, while training towards their goals of becoming better players. We understand that every child we encounter has a different personality that comes with different needs. We spend the time to understand each individual's specific strengths and challenges so that we can tailor our interaction with each child appropriately.

As professionals we recognize that age appropriate activity is very important. There are multiple stages in the development of a player. For the youngest players, the focus is on getting them to enjoy playing and willingness to "give it a try".

For the most advanced students, the focus is on understanding game strategy and on developing the desire, attitude and professionalism to overcome any challenge that they face.

Our 12,000sf center is home to a fully equipped weight room, a 50-yard turf sprinting track, a 5v5 soccer/futsal field, a full size goal and 2 youth goals for shooting drills, and viewing area for spectators to see all the action. We are open year round for custom training sessions, weekly clinics, seasonal camps, and leagues, plus we provide college prep summer training and high school prep fall training. This is a full service, soccer specific, state of the art 12,000sf indoor facility on Distribution Ave. and Miramar Rd. in San Diego. CAMP FACILITIES: Located on bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, sunny UC-Santa Barbara is a perfect getaway for superior summer training. It provides spacious grassy athletic fields for training, a university stadium for night games, an outdoor swimming pool for recreation, and a great beach for swimming. The campus is located 95 miles from Los Angeles, 215 miles from San Diego, and 320 miles from San Francisco.

Players stay at Tropicana Del Norte in suite style rooms. Tropicana Del Norte was recently completely and beautifully remodeled, all suites have three bedrooms, two baths and a living room.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Students will be introduced to a simple engineering process based on these five steps: Imagine, Plan, Create, Improve, and Ask. Students not only learn science principles, but they will create robots that move objects, find their own way around obstacles, play soccer, respond to light or motion, navigate through a maze, and even challenge other robots. Working in pairs, students will start with simple structures and then begin to make a robot through intermediate levels of construction, proper use of blocks, motors, mainboard, IR sensors and remote control.

Robot Edutainment is looking for Moms, Students, Recent Graduates, and Any Individual interested in teaching STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education in after-school programs in the Los Angeles area.

Teachers will be using robot kits to teach children in grades 3 - 6 how to assemble structures, introduction in electronics, and programming the robots in a curriculum designed to immerse children in concepts of mathematics, science, and engineering.

We surround you with a network of like-minded individuals to share ideas and a population of kids who are eager to learn from you. We also provide initial training on both how to instruct and Robotics, Computers and GUI Programming.

CAMP FACILITIES: Our 200 acre property contains forest land, a swimming pond, activity fields and hiking trails. We have 14 cabins, a dining hall, meetinghouse and a large community garden attached to our farm lands and orchard.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: Summer Camp - Ages 8-14: Campers come for 1 week or two week session (and some for 3, 4, or 5 weeks!) and go on wilderness trips. Each week there are 3 day, 2 night trips to Tahoe, the Sierra Buttes, and/or the Yuba River.

Teen Leadership Camp - Ages 15-16: These exciting programs takes the Summer Camp experience to a whole new level for 15 and 16 year olds: We offer a two-week hiking program, a one-week farming and cooking program, and a two-week bike repair and bike touring program.

Hiking Program (Two weeks): TLCers will spend two days bonding, learning about their trip, and preparing for hiking. They and their trip leaders will then embark on a 10-day backpacking trip along the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). They will then return to camp, and will have two days of closure at the end.

Farming & Cooking Program (One week): TLCers will spend their week working in Woolman's organic garden, learning about farming, plants and the farm to table journeys of the food we eat. They will learn nutrition and cooking skills as they prepare many of their meals with the fruits and vegetables harvested.

CAMP FACILITIES: Campers sleep in cabins (or if they are really lucky teepees) with a staff member in each cabin or teepee. Cabins/teepees have six bunk beds and are solid wood structures with canvas flaps covering the windows and the door. Each tribe has a set of brand new bathrooms with individual restrooms and showers.

CAMP FACILITIES: Skylake's secret to success is its small cabin groups. "Boys' camp" and "Girl's Camp" each with their own 16 rustic cabins is where the Skylake spirit is born. The 6500 square foot lodge, dining hall and lakeside porch is a center of activity. Tennis courts, sand volleyball, climbing wall, campfire circle, private docks on Bass Lake all provide a complete camp experience.

FAMILY CAMP SESSION(S): Skylake operates a Family Camp for a number of weeks prior to the children' camp sessions and again in the fall after children' camp concludes.

CAMP FACILITIES: The University of California was chartered in 1868 and its flagship was established at Berkeley, on San Francisco Bay. Today the world's premier public university, UC Berkeley occupies a 1,232 acre campus with a beautiful 178-acre central core.

Boys attending the Premier ID and Junior ID Academy play on newly renovated Memorial Stadium and on Witter Field, nestled in Strawberry Canyon. Full Day and Half Day Session I campers train at Memorial Stadium. Full Day and Half Day Session II camper train at Maxwell Field.

Cal continues to be one of the nation’s top programs for developing talent to play professionally. We share training techniques and methods that helped the Cal men's soccer team win the Pac-12 Championship in 2006, 2007 & 2010! Cal continues to be one of the nation’s top programs for developing talent to play professionally. In 2013, Cal had 18 players in the pro ranks including 13 in the MLS and three in Europe. In the 2014 MLS Superdraft, Cal had 3 players selected in the first round, including the 2nd & 3rd picks overall. The three first round selections were the most of any university in the country! CAMP FACILITIES: Our camp is located at St. Michael's Abbey of the Norbertine Fathers. The camp utilizes our boarding school facilities for sleeping, eating, and praying in the abbey church.
Our 36 acre property is perfect for a boys' camp, with sports fields, hiking, and an on-site pool.

CAMP PROGRAM INFO: St. Michael’s Summer Camp is a day and night resident camp for boys, ages 7-12. It has been in operation since 1962 and is accredited by the American Camping Association. Sessions are one week long, from Sunday afternoon to Saturday afternoon, extending from early July to early August.

Operated by the priests and seminarians of St. Michael’s Abbey, the camp offers good, wholesome fun in a safe environment, as well as instruction in the Catholic faith and participation in the sacraments.

With a wide variety of activities, ranging from classic team sports to tarantula hunting to epic battles that determine the fate of the entire universe, St. Michael’s Summer Camp is truly “Where All Boys Have Fun!”®

Upon their arrival on Sunday afternoon, the campers are divided into councils of 6-8 boys per counselor. The campers are always supervised. Even at night, two staff members are present in every dorm. Sleeping arrangements consist of three bunkrooms and one large military tent, each sleeping 3-6 councils.

Since 1991 World Cup Soccer Camps & Clinics has set the standard of excellence for youth soccer camps, classes and personal soccer training. With an emphasis on instruction, your child will receive the highest level of attention in a fun and safe environment. Our morning sessions are dedicated to technical training and developing skills. We create many touches on the ball to make it exciting and to improve your child's game. Half days conclude with small-sided games. In the afternoons we play matches where we work on tactics and positioning. All our coaches are skilled players, great with children and love to teach. With a 1 to 10, coach to player ratio, we are able to focus on high-quality and individualized training. Your child will be a better player after camp while having a lot of fun.

This year we run camps in 10 states (California, Colorado, Indiana, Kansas, Nevada, Kentucky, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas).

You can choose between our:

-U6 Fussball Academy (ages 5&6)
-Classic Skill Camp (all levels, ages 7-9)
-Advanced Player's Camp (more experienced players, ages 10-13)
-Goalkeeper Camp (GK One, ages 7-9, GK Two, ages 10-13)
-Team Camps (ages 5-16)
-High School Player's Small Group Training Camps (ages 14-17)

All campers receive a T-shirt, a camp evaluation and memento.

Extended care is offered from 8am-9am and 3pm-6pm, Monday-Friday.
